UDS Nyankpala Campus SRC intros leadership of 1st Students’ Parliament

• A total of 15 students have to been announced as the leaders of the first Nyankpala Campus SRC Students, Parliament

• This was communicated in a circular released by the Students Representative Council of the Nyankpala campus of the University for Development Studies dated 3rd June 2024

The fronts of the UDS-NYC SRC Students Parliament will be led by Abubakari Osman.

A total of six (6) female students add to make the set of 15.

Dear Students,

The SRC UDS-NYC has successfully implemented its policy to establish a student parliament. The newly elected executives and members were inaugurated on Saturday, 1st June 2024, with guests from the Northern Regional Youth Parliament and the NYA Coordinator for Tolon. This initiative reflects their commitment to democratic values and student empowerment. The Student Parliament aims to address student concerns and enhance campus community inclusivity.

The inauguration ceremony symbolized a significant milestone for the institution, highlighting the dedication to student engagement and leadership. The establishment of the Student Parliament provides a platform for constructive dialogue and collaboration, ensuring effective communication of student priorities. This step forward underscores the importance of amplifying student voices and fostering democratic principles within the campus community.

With confidence in the newly inaugurated members, the SRC anticipates meaningful contributions toward representing the diverse interests of the student body and also appreciates the ongoing support in creating a student-centered environment.
